Qualifications:
•Valid licensure to practice nursing in Ohio.
•Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
•Current certification as a nurse anesthetist by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or a recognized predecessor.
•Valid Certificate of Authority (COA) issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
•Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
•Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Working Hours and Compensation:
•Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Will be on first call every 10th night and second call every 10th night.
•Salary ranges from $230,000 to $287,000 depending on experience. 10 weeks of paid time off (PTO) available. Full benefits package, including a $25,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Provide direct and indirect anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients in perioperative services, obstetrics, pain management, and other areas as needed.
•Utilize the nursing process to collect data, assess patient needs, prioritize care, and develop/implement/evaluate an anesthetic plan.
•Demonstrate critical thinking to deliver safe and high-quality age-specific care.
•Manage pain relief, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, pulmonary care, and critically ill patients.
•Collaborate and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
•Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, regulatory/accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards.

Additional Information:
•Perform 5 OR starts and Endoscopy procedures daily. Cases mainly include General Surgery (including robotic and bariatric cases), Gynecology, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Vascular cases (with EVARs performed in the Cath Lab). Proficiency in OB is also required (approximately 55 deliveries per year).
