Working Hours and Compensation Potential:
-A full-time position during daytime hours, with occasional coverage for evening group activities.
-Compensation ranging from $46K to $63K based on experience.
-Comprehensive benefits package provided.
-Must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
-LSW or LPC certification is mandatory.
-Hold a current license by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a CDCA, LCDC II, III, or LICDC. Preference given to licenses higher than CDCA.
-Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals dealing with substance abuse using a comprehensive bio-psychosocial approach.
-Educate patients and their families about the disease process of addiction.
-Lead group discussions, engage in one-on-one sessions with patients, and assign group activities to Mental Health Technicians.
-Conduct assessments to determine patient needs and recommend suitable group therapy sessions.
-Accurately complete daily billing charges and sheets.
-Employ historical and current data to evaluate patient needs and provide effective counseling.
-Offer individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.
-Act as an advocate, mediator, and facilitator for clients.
