Hours and Compensation Potential:
- Full-time day shift position with occasional evening group coverage.
- Potential compensation ranging from $46K to $63K depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package offered.
What We're Looking For:
- Must possess Chemical Dependency Professionals Board license.
- LSW or LPC certification is required.
- Current licensure by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a LCDC II, III, or LICDC. Higher than CDCA.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic counseling to individuals struggling with chemical dependency using a comprehensive bio-psychosocial approach.
- Educate patients and families on the disease process of chemical dependency.
- Lead group discussions, provide one-on-one support to patients, and assign group activities for Mental Health Technicians.
- Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate group therapy sessions.
- Complete daily billing charges/sheets accurately.
- Utilize historical and current data to assess patient needs and provide effective counseling.
- Offer individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.
- Act as a client advocate, mediator, and facilitator.
