$220,000 to $240,000 + Performance Bonus + SIGNING BONUS + Paid Relocation

The Child Protection Program is seeking an experienced pediatrician with a specialization in child abuse to provide comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse in the greater Philadelphia area. Our dedicated team includes two highly skilled child abuse pediatricians, a social worker, nurse, and support staff. We conduct multidisciplinary evaluations for cases of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect, using both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as our regional Child Advocacy Center. To ensure effective collaboration with local investigators, we prioritize timely communication of medical findings. In addition to our clinical work, we are committed to educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows in the region. The successful candidate will have a passion for program development and education and will join Drexel University College of Medicine as an appointed staff member.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency program
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at the time of employment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification for the Commonwealth of PA
Skills and Certifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics (Separate Fellowship)
  • Board Certifications in Pediatrics
