What You’ll Do:

As part of a leading civil engineering team in the region, you'll support and manage a variety of municipal and infrastructure projects, with a focus on wet utilities and stormwater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan water distribution, treatment systems, sanitary sewer conveyance, and wastewater treatment

  • Perform hydrologic & hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, and E&SC design

  • Conduct feasibility studies, code and plan reviews, and permit applications

  • Produce reports, specifications, and detailed design drawings

  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards

  • Lead projects from planning through construction administration

  • Engage with clients and maintain strong relationships

  • Mentor junior staff and provide quality control across project deliverables

  • Track budgets, prepare proposals, and ensure project profitability


What We’re Looking For:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline

  • Minimum 4 years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE License in Delaware and/or Maryland

  • Project management experience on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects

  • Background in land development, public works, and wet utilities

  • Proficiency in engineering and design software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, OpenFlows StormCAD/WaterGEMS/SewerGEMS, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS

  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 and Bluebeam skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
