Job Title: Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Miami, FL

Position Summary

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team in a remote (home office) position based in Florida. As a Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and managing investigations related to buildings, structures, and structural components. This will include tasks such as structural analysis, damage assessment, reviewing designs, and ensuring compliance with building codes. Additionally, you will be required to perform lab and field testing of construction materials and prepare detailed written reports summarizing your findings.

You will work closely with clients and other consultants, manage multiple and unique projects simultaneously, and provide expert insights and recommendations.

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Advanced Technical Education degrees (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in forensic investigation and analysis
• Proficiency in computer software tools such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Prior experience in industrial/manufacturing/construction/design fields
