Civil / Structural Forensic Engineer – Tampa
We have an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Structural Engineer to join our client's Florida Practice.
This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from your home office.
We welcome applications from individuals based in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa areas.
About the Position
As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing investigations into various buildings, structures, and structural components. This will involve tasks such as structural analysis, damage assessment, ensuring building code compliance, conducting lab and field testing of construction materials, and reviewing structural designs. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and consultants, manage multiple unique projects, and produce comprehensive written reports summarizing your analyses.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Advanced Technical Education degrees (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in forensic engineering
- Proficient in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing/construction/design sectors
