Civil / Structural Forensic Engineer
Our client's Charleston, SC Practice is actively seeking a talented Civil/Structural Investigative Engineer to join their team.
This position allows for remote work from the comfort of your own home.

You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, marketing yourself, and growing a client base.
Position Description
As a Civil/Structural Engineer, your primary role will be conducting and overseeing investigations related to buildings, structures, and structural components. This will include tasks such as structural analysis, damage assessment, ensuring compliance with building codes, conducting laboratory and field tests on construction materials, and reviewing structural designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with clients and collaborating with other consultants, managing multiple unique projects, and preparing detailed written reports summarizing your findings and recommendations.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural engineering is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is mandatory.
- Advanced technical education degrees are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in Forensics is advantageous.
- Litigation experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office is required.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing/construction/design is an added advantage.
