Clinical Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Manager to join our team at our Upper Sandusky, OH location. As an integral part of our healthcare organization, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care in our dialysis unit. It will be your main objective to ensure that the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety are achieved. In addition to your strong clinical expertise, you will also need exceptional leadership skills to guide and inspire our team of nurses and support staff in delivering care to patients with chronic kidney conditions. Your duties will encompass effective management of staffing, budgeting, and operational protocols while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role as the primary liaison between patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare providers, fostering a positive patient experience that contributes to their overall health and well-being. By providing competent leadership, you will improve patient outcomes and create a collaborative work environment, allowing our team to excel in delivering outstanding dialysis care. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the dialysis unit, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and create work schedules for nursing staff, promoting their professional growth and a positive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functionality of dialysis equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor the quality of patient care and outcomes, implementing necessary improvements when required.
  • Conduct education and training sessions for staff on dialysis protocols and best practices.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to achieve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 6 months in Hemo Dialysis.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of various dialysis treatment modalities and related medical procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed clinical decisions.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.
