The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Completed an accredited medical school program and obtained relevant certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care efficiently
• Adept at providing quality care to underserved populations with complex needs
• Proven experience in managing large health center settings or private practice as a Director or Associate Director
• Past involvement in recruitment, on-boarding, retention, and discipline of clinical providers and staff
• Familiarity with compliance issues related to specific clinical expertise
• Proficiency in supervising advanced practitioners such as APRNs and PAs
• Ability to develop and participate in department strategic goals and direction
• Experienced in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration
• Strong focus on quality, including ongoing professional practice evaluation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners and stakeholders
• Aptitude for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to make evidence-based decisions
• Experience contributing to enterprise-level projects
• Proficient in electronic health record systems
• Skilled in exercising initiative, judgment, and discretion to achieve organizational objectives
• Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving, with a sense of accountability
