Hours and Compensation Potential:

This is a full-time position with a combination of day and evening shifts.
Shifts are rotated and consist of 8 hours each, with start times at 5am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm.
Approximately 80% of shifts are during the day and 20% in the evenings. Weekends are rotated, usually every 4th weekend.
Compensation ranges from $54/hr to $75/hr, depending on experience.
Evenings, nights, and weekends receive a shift differential of $2.75/hr.

What We're Seeking:

PharmD required. Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
Prior hospital experience is preferred, although individuals with a background in retail will be considered.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications to patients, offering drug information and education to optimize care quality.
Accurately enter medication orders into the computer system, ensuring completeness of the patient's medication profile.
Provide timely and accurate drug and toxicological information to customers to enhance knowledge and reduce risks.
Perform precise calculations of caloric and/or electrolyte ingredients for TPN, ensuring accurate administration of patients' nutritional therapy.
Monitor drug therapy and identify potential medication problems, such as interactions, incompatibilities, and allergies, to ensure patient safety.
Personalize drug dosing for patients by applying pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles.

Additional Information:

This position reports to a newly appointed Director after the retirement of the previous director.
