The role of CNC Supervisor is to oversee and lead a team in the operation of rotary transfer trunnion machines. This includes setting up the machines, performing maintenance and repairs on various components, and providing training and guidance to the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret blueprints and understand tolerance specifications.
• Keep detailed records of production data, tool changes, and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Conduct thorough inspections of parts using a variety of gauges.
• Utilize statistical process control techniques to ensure quality standards are met.
• Efficiently operate and maintain the machines, including loading stock and performing daily maintenance tasks.
• Provide and use personal hand tools as needed for the job.
• Replace and repair tooling and machine components.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience with rotary transfer machining, specifically with Buffoli, Gnutti, Hydromat, and Mikron machines.
• 10 years or more of experience in tooling adjustments, set-ups, change-overs, and troubleshooting related issues in quality or production.
• Knowledge of statistical process control techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer numerical control (CNC) is desired, but not required for this position.
