CNC Leads Man
The role of CNC Supervisor is to oversee and lead a team in the operation of rotary transfer trunnion machines. This includes setting up the machines, performing maintenance and repairs on various components, and providing training and guidance to the team.
- Accurately interpret blueprints and understand tolerance specifications.
- Keep detailed records of production data, tool changes, and any issues encountered during the shift.
- Conduct thorough inspections of parts using a variety of gauges.
- Utilize statistical process control techniques to ensure quality standards are met.
- Efficiently operate and maintain the machines, including loading stock and performing daily maintenance tasks.
- Provide and use personal hand tools as needed for the job.
- Replace and repair tooling and machine components.
Required Competencies and Skills:

- Previous experience with rotary transfer machining, specifically with Buffoli, Gnutti, Hydromat, and Mikron machines.
- 10 years or more of experience in tooling adjustments, set-ups, change-overs, and troubleshooting related issues in quality or production.
- Knowledge of statistical process control techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with computer numerical control (CNC) is desired, but not required for this position.
