Café Supervisor

Our company is currently seeking a Café Supervisor for our location in Solvang, CA. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities of a Café Supervisor:

• Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the café, including coffee and juice bar activities.
• Ensure efficient production, preparation, cleaning, supply management, stock rotation, and roasting processes.
• Provide leadership to the café staff, setting high standards for customer service and fostering a motivated workforce.
• Maintain strict quality control to maintain the highest standards for taste and presentation of our coffee and juice offerings.
• Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure customer and staff well-being.
• Develop and conduct ongoing training programs for the café staff to enhance their skills and maintain excellent service.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and in compliance with company hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Maximize the visual appeal and customer engagement of the café's products through effective display and presentation.
• Implement pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales.
• Monitor and manage costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.

Requirements for a Café Supervisor:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with coffee, including expertise in brewing, espresso preparation, and latte art.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in food management, including knowledge of food safety protocols and inventory control.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage café operations.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
• Ability to travel between multiple store locations.
