Commercial Buyer (Industrial Die Cutting)

Join a well-established leader in industrial die cutting technology. Our client is a trusted supplier of high-performance cutting solutions—including Traveling Head, Receding Beam, and Narrow Web die cutting machines—for non-metallic material applications across a range of industries.

We’re looking for a skilled Buyer to support our operations in Cincinnati, OH. This is a key role responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services critical to our manufacturing success.

What You’ll Do

As a Buyer, you’ll ensure our production lines are always supplied by maintaining the right materials, at the right cost, from the right vendors—on time. You’ll work closely with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to manage procurement, control inventory, and help optimize our supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services for production needs

• Analyze inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure best value

• Manage and build strong supplier relationships

• Evaluate and compare supplier quotes and capabilities

• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support seamless production

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations

What You Bring

• 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment

• Proven skills in sourcing, negotiation, and contract writing

• Strong understanding of manufacturing materials and processes

• Experience in inventory management and vendor coordination

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows-based systems

• Highly organized, with strong time management and problem-solving skills
