COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

A prestigious national law firm ranked within the top AmLaw 100 is currently seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their esteemed Commercial Litigation practice group located in scenic Portland.

Desirable Candidate Profile:

• Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a renowned top-tier law school with exceptional academic achievements.
• Active membership in good standing with the Oregon State Bar.
• Demonstrate relevant experience of 3-5 years in civil litigation or complex business litigation.
• Advantageous to have experience in a judicial clerkship role.
• Dedication to maintaining a strong work ethic, professional integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
• Possess excellent written and verbal advocacy skills.
• Experience handling large and intricate litigation matters including e-discovery would be highly advantageous.
• Showcase exceptional references.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as legal counsel representing a diverse range of businesses and individuals in both state and federal court proceedings, as well as alternative dispute resolution platforms.
• Collaborate closely with seasoned attorneys on complex litigation cases, locally and nationally.
• Participate in all facets of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing trial strategies.
