LEGAL FIRM IN MIDTOWN ATLANTA SEEKING HIGHLY SKILLED COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ATTORNEY

We are a prestigious and established national law firm based in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA. We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Commercial Litigator to join our busy and collaborative practice group. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in complex commercial litigation, preferably in the areas of commercial litigation and/or financial services litigation, in both state and federal courts. Although not required, experience with appellate matters and eDiscovery would be considered a valuable asset. Alternatively, candidates with experience in defamation, data privacy, cybersecurity, creditor's rights, bankruptcy, healthcare, intellectual property, labor and employment, compliance, or internal investigations are also encouraged to apply. Membership in the Georgia State Bar is required or the ability and intention to become a member.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial litigation cases, representing clients in state and federal courts.
• Manage financial services litigation and potentially handle appellate matters and eDiscovery.
• Develop effective case strategies and provide legal advice to clients regarding their options and potential risks.
• Collaborate with the practice group to deliver comprehensive legal services.
• Possibly work on cases involving defamation, data privacy, cybersecurity, bankruptcy, creditor's rights, intellectual property, healthcare, labor and employment, compliance, or investigations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school, with outstanding academic achievement and involvement in law review and/or moot court.
• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar or the ability and intention to become a member.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Extensive experience in state and federal court litigation.
• Preferably have first chair litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Capability to work independently and willingness to travel occasionally.
