We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team in Fairfield, OH. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, sheet metal installation, and team leadership. Bilingual candidates with proficiency in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. As the Foreman, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple roofing and sheet metal crews, ensuring high-quality work, adherence to safety protocols, and timely project completion within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervision & Coordination:

Coordinate and supervise the work of commercial roofing and sheet metal project crews, ensuring that they meet project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.

Attend job and scheduling meetings as necessary.

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring smooth workflow.

Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise on-site.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Perform quality checks to ensure that work meets or exceeds project plans and industry standards. Address any deficiencies promptly.

Safety & Compliance:

Work with the Safety Director to enforce safety protocols and comply with relevant regulations.

Assist in conducting safety meetings and training sessions.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Material & Resource Management:

Collaborate with the Purchasing Assistant to procure and deliver materials and equipment to job sites.

Monitor inventory levels and placement on the jobsite to optimize resource usage.

Assist in managing and controlling labor cost projections.

Client & Stakeholder Relations:

Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Provide regular project updates and promptly address any concerns or changes.

Ensure client satisfaction through exceptional workmanship and professional service.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade school education preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing and sheet metal work, with proven supervisory experience.

Extensive knowledge of various commercial roofing systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation techniques.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficient in using project management software and tools.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including climbing ladders. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required.
