JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Construction Supervisor will oversee all construction activities at the site, managing field personnel and subcontractors to ensure successful completion of projects within the set budget and schedule. This includes maintaining high-quality standards, coordinating different trades, and enforcing safety practices. The role also involves managing the job site office and completing project closeouts. Most projects will be based in Altamonte Springs, FL, with some work in other Southeastern states.

  • Collaborate and supervise construction activities
  • Coordinate all field operations to ensure project completion within budget and schedule, while meeting quality standards and client expectations
  • Create and maintain construction schedules, identifying and resolving issues
  • Order materials and schedule inspections as required throughout the project
  • Thorough understanding of project plans and specifications
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members
  • Prepare daily reports, safety reports, schedules, and oversee the completion of the final punch list
  • Promote job site safety, enforce safe work practices, and address any hazards
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulations, including storm-water compliance
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, including the construction office
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings, inviting all trades involved
  • Review job cost reports and assist Project Manager in maintaining budget control
  • Review subcontractor scopes of work and provide feedback before contract award
  • Establish staging plans and manage site logistics effectively
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to schedule critical path construction meetings before mobilization
  • Review and provide feedback on submittals for compliance and coordination
  • Ensure the placement of high-quality work by crafts, suppliers, employees, and third-party contractors


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in heavy commercial or industrial construction, particularly with warehouse and distribution sites
  • Proven expertise in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production across all construction phases
  • Experience with Precast and tilt wall construction is mandatory
