Complex Human Resources Manager

New opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Administrator!
  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess a minimum of 8 years of HR experience. Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a requirement!
  • Successful candidates will have previous experience supervising various HR functions such as AAP, OSHA, EEOC, DHS, DOL, and staffing for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record of supervising HR associates, resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, reducing turnover, and developing effective employee recognition programs is highly desired. The candidate should also be skilled in training and mentoring supervisors on efficient workforce management.
  • Strong knowledge in safety supervision and controlling compensation costs, TRIR, and LTR is required.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and a track record of completing projects and protocols on schedule are necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization are essential. The candidate should also be committed to teamwork and possess strong coaching skills.
  • Travel to other facilities and plants may be required for meetings and business purposes.
  • Preferably SHRM certified!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR function for a large meat/poultry plant in Dillon, SC, including staffing, safety, associate relations, and employment data processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policy, and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations such as AAP, EEOC, DHS, DOL, and OSHA.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting and selection plans to attract top talent.
  • Establish and monitor processes to reduce turnover, using metrics to measure success.
  • Create and update an annual HR business plan aligned with field operations' objectives.
  • Drive HR and business innovation through the implementation of new ideas and concepts.
