Complex Technical Site Manager

Responsibilities: The Technical Site Coordinator role involves the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies to enhance factory efficiency and reliability, maximize asset utilization, and minimize costs. This position also emphasizes the importance of loss control and prevention, fostering continuous improvement. Specifically:

· Offer support for the maintenance of plant infrastructure and continuous improvement activities, providing technical and operational expertise.

· Drive a comprehensive and robust Maintenance Excellence Program.

· Promote enhanced equipment reliability, minimize line downtime, and actively contribute to process and technical operational improvements.

· Execute and enhance the plant’s Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program.

· Implement a comprehensive 5S Program to promote efficiency and organization.

· Develop and deliver training programs on technical skills, TPM, safety protocols (LOTO, 6S), and other applicable topics.

· Facilitate effective communication of changes to maintenance teams, managing their successful implementation, including new processes, equipment, and work methodologies.

· Collaborate with the Training & Development Manufacturing Support Lead to identify and establish a skills matrix, contributing to the design and implementation of relevant training initiatives.

· Support corporate engineering in the execution of capital projects and their integration into operations.

· Lead or actively take part in Process Hazard Analysis studies to ensure operational safety and efficiency.

·Ensure the maintenance of overall quality levels (equipment and department work) and adherence to on-time delivery schedules.

Manage the maintenance staff by recruiting, training, and developing employees to meet departmental requirements.

Ensure completion of preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as the proper maintenance of records for all assets.

Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in the food industry. Equivalency based on additional targeted experience may also be considered, even in the absence of a degree. Moreover:

Extensive knowledge of maintenance management systems and processes, preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies, and standard software applications is required.

Familiarity with BBS and EAS regulations is necessary to ensure the safe and effective operation of staff and the workforce.

In-depth understanding of individual items of packaging equipment and integrated systems is essential, along with the ability to diagnose faults and implement corrective actions while considering the impact on product quality.

Strong communication, mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills are required for this role.

CMRP, Six Sigma, and Lean Certifications are highly desirable.
