Configuration Management Specialist (DoD Sensing Technology Manufacturer)

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity where you’ll take the lead in building and managing the configuration management (CM) infrastructure from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement configuration management policies, plans, and procedures

• Manage hardware, software, and technical data across the full product lifecycle

• Oversee configuration baselines and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs)

• Lead Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings

• Conduct CM audits and ensure compliance with DoD and quality standards

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams

• Generate reports and metrics to support configuration and lifecycle management

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 5+ years of experience in configuration or product lifecycle management

• Strong knowledge of DoD configuration management standards

• CM certifications (CMPIC, IpX, NDIA, or CMII) preferred
