Are you a skilled attorney with a passion for Construction Litigation? Our client, a reputable Southeastern Regional law firm with a national presence, is currently searching for a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their growing Construction, Development & Condemnation Litigation Practice Group. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging construction litigation cases.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a JD degree from a prestigious law school and have achieved outstanding academic results.
- Active South Carolina bar license.
- Bring 1-4 years of experience in intricate construction litigation.
- Demonstrate your ability in drafting pleadings, presenting arguments, and managing discovery matters, including conducting depositions.
- Possess excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Showcase strong analytical abilities and an aptitude for both independent and collaborative work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in complex construction litigation cases, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation in federal and state courts.
- Handle a wide range of litigation duties, from drafting pleadings to arguing motions and conducting depositions.
- Offer counsel and support to clients throughout the negotiation, preparation, and review of construction contracts.
- Engage with clients and collaborate with a team of knowledgeable professionals in the practice group.
