CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL POSITION

Location: Charleston, SC

A highly-respected law firm with a national presence is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their thriving Construction and Real Estate Litigation team. This position involves handling a variety of complex legal matters in the construction and development industry.

Requirements:

  • JD from an esteemed law school with a proven track record of academic excellence.
  • Active South Carolina bar license.
  • 1-6 years of experience in complicated construction and real estate litigation.
  • Proven ability to draft pleadings, argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle discovery.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex construction and real estate litigation cases, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation in federal and state courts.
  • Handle a wide range of litigation tasks, such as drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and conducting depositions.
  • Advise and support clients in negotiating, preparing, and reviewing construction contracts.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled and experienced team to provide exceptional legal services.

Compensation:

The salary for this position will be based on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be offered depending on individual performance.
