Control Engineer

Join a well-established Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in Santa Clarita, CA. This dynamic company offers excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate. Our customer base spans across the contiguous 48 states, and occasional travel (10%-20%) may be required. Providing exceptional customer service is our priority, and we expect our engineers to possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PLC programming.
  • We primarily use Siemens, but experience with other PLCs is also valued.
• Proficiency in HMI design and programming.
  • Siemens and IDEC are our primary platforms, but familiarity with other PLCs is beneficial.
• Experience in implementing data logging capabilities.
• Ability to design and arrange electrical panels.
  • If necessary, you should also be capable of building and wiring panels.
  • Willingness to assist as needed in various tasks.
• Aptitude for selecting and sourcing components.
• Capability to generate a list of components for ordering.
• Ability to create electrical drawings for panel builders.
• Good mechanical skills to provide support in equipment installation and servicing.

Nice-to-have Skills (but not required):

• Familiarity with ISO 9000, CE, or UL and ability to work towards certification.
• Capability to calculate load limits for structures, such as lifting frames, gantries, and bridge cranes.
• Bilingual proficiency.
• IT skills for industrial connections and subnets.
• Knowledge of communications and interoperability with other plant devices.
• Experience in production management.

$100k - $120k salary range, depending on experience
