Job Title: Financial Manager
Location: Decorah, Iowa
Salary: $100-125K plus bonus
Job Summary of the Financial Manager: The Financial Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring profitability. They will also analyze financial information and oversee the accounting department's activities.
Job Responsibilities of the Financial Manager:
• Oversee the accounting department's activities, including preparing internal and external financial statements, conducting annual audits, and creating annual budgets.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closes and prepare operating and financial reports for management.
• Analyze and interpret financial data.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, cash control, payroll processing, and payroll tax compliance.
• Assist with annual budgets and cash forecasting.
• Lead a team of accounting professionals.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls.
• Actively participate in monthly business reviews.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
• Successfully handle the annual audit process.
• Consolidate financial statements on a monthly basis and conduct monthly reviews.
• Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in the accounting and finance sector, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial analysis, evolving technologies, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and if statements.
• Demonstrated skills in making independent decisions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and work within teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a strong desire to drive positive change.
• Perform other assigned duties.
