Controller/ Accounting for Home Infusion/Healthcare
Job Description: Home Infusion Controller
A Home Infusion Controller is needed to oversee the financial and operational aspects of a home infusion therapy business in a healthcare field situated in Greenville, NC. This position requires managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring inventory, and providing support for the delivery of high-quality infusion therapy services to patients in their homes.
In this role, you will act as a strategic leader and operational manager, guaranteeing the financial sustainability and excellent provision of home infusion therapy services to patients. Your responsibilities include optimizing resource utilization, improving patient care, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Management:
· Plan and manage budgets for the home infusion program, including staffing, supplies, medication costs, and other operational expenses.
· Supervise payroll and employee benefit activities and reporting.
· Analyze revenue, track accounts receivable, monitor billing trends and collection efforts, coordinate with billing services provider, and investigate discrepancies.
· Monitor purchasing and expense transactions, as well as vendor activity; evaluate pricing contracts and agreements.
· Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, prepare journal entries for the accounting system, reconcile intercompany transactions, analyze trends, and provide financial advice to owners.
· Implement strategies to maximize resource utilization and minimize infusion therapy delivery costs.
· Oversee billing and collection processes to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement for services rendered.
· Prepare regular financial reports to assess program performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to home infusion therapy, including medication handling, storage, and administration.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management is required.
· Familiarity with home infusion therapy processes, regulations, and quality standards is important.
· Ability to manage and motivate staff, handle budgets, and implement operational improvements.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with administrative and financial contacts, as well as other stakeholders.
· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to operational challenges.
Experience with healthcare information systems, accounting and financial applications, and other relevant software applications is preferred.Other Jobs
