Plant Controller - Tulsa
Required Education and Work Experience:
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing company, with aerospace industry experience considered a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supervising direct reports
Other Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP application in a manufacturing company setting
  • Proficient in full cycle budgeting, tax compliance, and conducting audits
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience with ERP systems, with Infor Visual experience preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to address unexpected challenges
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding company records, and exhibiting integrity in communications and actions
  • Strong self-management skills, including efficiency, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong proficiency in ERP systems for manufacturing
  • Sets an example for integrity, communication, and compliance by adhering to policies, communicating professionally, and providing prompt responses to internal customers
Essential Functions and Job Description:

  • Compile monthly management reporting package, including financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow) and variance analysis on key performance indicators
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making and accurate forecasting
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Create annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including preparation of bridges, sales & margin analysis, etc.
  • Generate and submit weekly cash forecasting and other periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc)
  • Coordinate capital expenditure requests and track approved projects
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned sites during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests
  • Act as the lead contact for assigned sites in annual tax return preparation or other tax-related matters
  • Provide guidance to staff on accounting issues and establish/enforce common policies and procedures across the organization
  • Select, develop, and manage assigned staff, holding them accountable for performance and conduct
  • Regular attendance at the workplace is mandatory
