An enthusiastic automation controls engineer is currently sought after in Angola, NY. This role requires a dedicated professional with a solid background in electrical engineering and expertise in process control/automation design and development. The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering PE, Computer Science, or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in engineering development, team support, technical management, project coordination, and full cycle project management, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Specifically:

• Possess a comprehensive technical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuring electronic control systems tailored to Allen Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s Variable Frequency Drives, and associated communication interfaces in an industrial setting (with a preference for food processing experience)

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using test equipment

• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic

• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes
