Corporate Development & Strategy Finance
We are currently seeking a Strategy and Corporate Development professional to join our team at a publicly traded company located in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary focus of this role is to deliver and establish strategic initiatives that drive top-line growth and margin expansion. This position requires working in our office on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
• Implement established strategic initiatives aimed at driving top-line growth and expanding margins
• Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects align with overall business objectives
• Evaluate situations from multiple perspectives and utilize appropriate resources to develop effective strategies
• Utilize financial data modeling techniques for forecasting, valuation, and decision-making purposes
• Apply statistical modeling and analysis methods to extract valuable insights from large datasets
• Support and/or manage high-impact M&A initiatives, which may be complex or large-scale
• Communicate effectively with senior executives, colleagues, and external partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; preference will be given to candidates with a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) focused on finance, strategy, or general management
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business analytics, operations, finance, product management, investment banking, or strategy consulting
• Proficiency in financial data modeling, with a particular interest in big data analytics and statistical modeling
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools is a plus
• Ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of leadership to work towards a common goal
• Expertise in change management within matrix or ambiguous organizational structures
• Strong understanding of various business functions and their interdependencies
• Ability to leverage broad familiarity with business operations to facilitate cross-functional assignments
