Associate Attorney - Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions

A highly regarded AmLaw 100 firm is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Jr. Associate to join their esteemed Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice Group in Philadelphia. This role presents an exciting chance to be involved in cutting-edge transactions and provide advisory services to clients across various industries.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school with a distinguished academic track record.
  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
  • Have between 2 and 3 years of hands-on experience in corporate law, specializing in M&A transactions.
  • Preferably possess knowledge of securities law or emerging business matters.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel in relation to M&A, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Offer strategic advice regarding securities law and corporate governance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and transaction-related documents.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and research to support client transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different practice areas to deliver exceptional legal services.
