Qualifications:
•Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred qualification includes CT registry (ARRT).
•Must possess a Radiologic License issued by the Ohio Department of Health.
•BLS certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
Hours and Compensation:
•Full-time position with shifts ranging from 7am to 7pm, including rotating weekends and holidays. Shift durations can be 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours.
•Hourly pay ranges from $26.89 to $38.99, depending on experience.
•Comprehensive benefits package, which includes a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Performing CT procedures to generate diagnostic images while providing patient care and education related to the procedures.
•Conducting routine and emergency CT procedures, ensuring proper use of imaging equipment, accessories, and contrast agents. Adhering to radiation safety standards and department protocols.
•Preparing patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, assisting patients with appropriate attire, and creating a comfortable and friendly environment. Providing patient and family education regarding imaging procedures.
•Managing manual and computerized patient, department, and hospital records. Undertaking data entry and clerical tasks as necessary. Responsible for supply management and stocking within the department.
•Performing equipment quality control as per department protocol. Conducting routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel or department.
•Offering backup support for general Radiology procedures and availability for on-call duties outside of regular working hours.
