Key Requirements:
•Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferably, possess CT registry (ARRT).
•Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License is essential.
•BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Hours and Compensation:
•Full-time position working from 7am to 7pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Shifts can be 8, 10, or 12 hours.
•Hourly salary range of $26.89 to $38.99, dependent on experience.
•Comprehensive benefits package offered, including a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Performing CT procedures to obtain diagnostic images. Providing patient care and education during procedures.
•Conducting routine and emergency CT procedures using imaging equipment, accessories, and contrast agents. Adhering to radiation safety standards and department protocols.
•Preparing patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures. Assisting patients with appropriate dress. Creating a comfortable, friendly, and secure environment for all patients. Educating patients and their families about the imaging procedure.
•Maintaining manual and computerized patient, department, and hospital records. Assisting with data entry and administrative tasks as necessary. Managing department supplies by ordering and stocking them.
•Performing and documenting equipment quality control according to department protocols. Conducting routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate individual or department.
•Providing backup coverage for general radiology procedures. Available for on-call duties outside of regular working hours.
