Who we're looking for:
•Successful completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program, holding a CT (ASCP) certification.
•Experience in GYN/non-GYN screenings and fine needle procedures. Knowledge of Cytology specimen processing is a plus.
Hours and compensation:
•This position offers 32 hours per week on day shifts, with no weekends or holidays. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
•Compensation ranges from $30.27 to $41.66 per hour, based on experience. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $12,000 is available.
•We provide a full benefits package and prefer candidates who are commutable, but we are willing to assist with relocation.

What you'll be responsible for:
•Your primary responsibility will involve the microscopic evaluation of pap smears.
•In addition, you will handle the processing of Non GYN specimens, assist with final needle aspirates, perform microscopic evaluation of Non GYN specimens, handle pap smear registration and accessioning, participate in pap smear processing, staining, and maintaining the stainer machine.
•Although the processing, registration, and accessioning tasks are typically performed by support staff, you will cover for PTO, FMLA, call-offs, or as needed based on volume.
•You will work with cutting-edge equipment such as Thin Prep processors, Thin Prep imager, Leica stainer, and SoftPath.
•As a Cytotech, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art instrumentation.

•You will report to a highly respected Director within the organization. Please note that this is a fast-paced laboratory, and some Cytotechs have found it challenging to maintain quality and accuracy due to the volume of work.
