About the Job

  • Develops and implements training and educational programs for individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
  • Ensures coordination of home training and regular follow-up of patients on a monthly and as-needed basis.
  • Oversees the review and assessment of patient care, complying with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program, and clinic-specific requirements.
  • Establishes and enforces standards of care, delivering patient care according to ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI's CQI program, and clinic-specific requirements.
  • Collaborates with the Education Coordinator to plan and provide training and evaluations for patient care staff.
  • Coordinates the implementation of DCI's CQI and Risk Management Programs in partnership with the Quality and Risk Manager.
  • Works in collaboration with the Medical Director, Social Worker, Dietitian, Charge Nurses, Technical Managers, Staff Nurses, and Technicians to address specific patient care issues, including modality selection.
  • Promotes and facilitates open and effective communication among staff, administration, physicians, and patients.
  • Integrates unit activities related to patient care, staff education, research projects, and unit expansions in consultation with the Clinic Operations Director and Medical Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Nursing, Social Work, Dietitian, and Technical staff in collaboration with the Medical Director.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in adherence to the clinic's policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees, schedules shifts, and assesses performance with the guidance of the Area Operations Director.


  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Prior experience in dialysis
  • Proven leadership experience

Preferred Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with previous experience in the dialysis field. While management experience is required, it does not necessarily have to be in dialysis. This is a full-time position.
