Registered Dietician (Nutrition Services)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to lead and implement our nutrition services program in close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team (IDT). This role is integral in assessing participant needs, managing dietary plans, overseeing menu development, and ensuring regulatory compliance related to food services. You’ll play a key role in supporting the health and wellness of frail and elderly individuals through high-quality, person-centered nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to identify participant needs, preferences, and goals.

• Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop individualized care plans.

• Provide and document direct nutrition care in line with physician orders and participant care plans.

• Implement and monitor special diets, and provide education and counseling to participants and their families.

• Oversee menu development and meal delivery to ensure compliance with safety and dietary regulations.

• Lead and manage nutrition staff, including hiring, training, and mentoring.

• Support the intake and enrollment process to ensure efficient and timely participant onboarding.

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian with at least 4 years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar setting.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid certification.

• Reliable transportation.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
