What They’re Looking For:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree required

• RHIT Certification required

• Must be registered with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

Hours & Compensation:

• Schedule: Full-time

• Salary Range: $74,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

• Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package included

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Director of Health Information Management, you will:

• Lead the HIM department to meet organizational, clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical goals

• Develop and implement strategic plans and departmental objectives

• Oversee departmental operations including patient records, health information systems, service quality, and complaint resolution

• Manage staffing activities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, training, and disciplinary actions

• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals

• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits

• Foster a culture of continuous professional development and excellence

• Ensure HIM’s ongoing alignment with patient care, compliance, and organizational standards

Additional Info:

• Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

• Facility is a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited hospital focused on delivering high-quality healthcare to the region
