Who we're looking for:
•Minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
•Must have RHIT Certification
•Registered with the American Health Information Management Association
Compensation and hours:
•This is a full-time position
•Salary range is $74K-$85K, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
•The Director of Health Information Management will oversee departmental activities and resources to accomplish organizational goals
•Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with the organization's clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements
•Evaluate and manage department operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to ensure performance and quality control objectives are met
•Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
•Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding
•Coordinate and direct internal and external audits
•Create a culture of professional growth and development
•Ensure the department maintains its critical role in the continuum of care
