Job Overview
- Lead the firm's efforts in recruiting attorneys, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
- Create and implement strategies to enhance the firm's recruitment brand and market presence.
- Supervise the attorney onboarding and integration process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Develop and manage professional development programs to support the growth of attorneys.
- Collaborate with firm leaders to evaluate hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry experts.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Oversee and report on recruitment metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Manage a team of recruitment support staff and provide opportunities for their professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably within a law firm setting.
- Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a talent for building relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruitment software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
