Job Description
- Direct the firm's recruitment efforts for attorneys, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
- Create and implement strategies to enhance the firm's recruitment brand and market presence.
- Supervise the onboarding and integration process for attorneys to ensure a smooth transition.
- Establish and manage professional development programs to support the growth of attorneys.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to evaluate hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
- Maintain relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and professionals in the industry.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage and provide reports on recruitment metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Supervise support staff involved in recruitment and provide opportunities for their professional development.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably within a law firm.
- Must have a bachelor's degree; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to create and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruitment software, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with effective project management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
