Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Director of Business Development to spearhead our clients' initiatives in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success specifically in the telecom sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic plans to drive business expansion within the telecommunications industry.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by establishing relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Expand and maintain a wide network of industry contacts to facilitate strategic alliances and business prospects.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to maintain a strong competitive position.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Supervise and assess sales performance, preparing detailed reports and insights for senior management.
  • Serve as the company's representative at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance service promotion and brand recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, specifically within the telecommunications industry.
  • Have a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the telecommunications industry and its major players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Showcase strong skills in building and maintaining client and industry relationships.
  • Have experience in leadership and managing sales teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in strategic planning and execution.
  • Be willing to travel as necessary for client interactions and industry events.
