Emergency Services RN Director
Location: Turlock, CA
Salary: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Emergency Services (Registered Nurse) to lead our Emergency Services Departments in Turlock, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical, financial, and human resources aspects of our emergency services. Your main objective will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care and uphold the mission of our hospital and patient care services. Additionally, you will play a key role in emergency preparedness and disaster response planning for our organization.

As the Director of Emergency Services, you will be responsible for managing all department functions, evaluating nursing personnel, and maintaining the operations of the patient care units. Collaboration and teamwork between departments will be essential, as we strive to provide safe and exceptional nursing care. Your expertise and leadership will motivate our nursing team to deliver safe and quality patient care while maintaining fiscal responsibility. This position also involves supporting quality improvement efforts, research, and education.

Responsibilities

• Manage department functions to ensure effective and efficient operation
• Maximize patients' level of comfort and function

Requirements

Education:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
• Current State of California license
• 3-5 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification within 1 year of hire

Certifications:

• Active California R.N. license
• Healthcare Provider BLS upon hire
• TNCC, ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: CCRN or CEN certification
