Director of Financial Planning and Analysis – Remote
Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Reports to the CFO, VP Finance Administration
Location: Remote (With periodic travel requirements to Hawaii)
Job Description:
The Director of FP&A will play a crucial role as a leader in the finance department. Their main responsibility is to oversee and manage all financial planning, reporting, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities. This position is based in Hawaii. Following GAAP standards, the Director of FP&A will be instrumental in generating monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and reports for publicly filed 10-Q & 10-K. By collaborating closely with business leaders, this role will provide valuable financial insights and support to aid in informed decision-making and continuous improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Financial Planning & Budgeting processes
- Conduct Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Manage Cost Control & Profitability Analysis
- Collaborate as a Business Partner and Provide Strategic Decision Support
- Identify and Implement Systems & Process Improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is essential
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to anticipate issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong interactions with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership skills
Travel: Must be willing to travel periodically to the plant location in Hawaii.
