Dust Hazard Consultant
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Dust Hazard Consultant (Fire Protection) to join their team. As a leading Engineering and Design Consulting firm in Orlando, FL, our client is committed to providing comprehensive solutions for combustible dust hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough field surveys to identify and assess potential dust hazards in various processes.
- Evaluate and analyze existing dust control measures, including collecting and testing samples of dust particles.
- Create effective dust hazard mitigation plans to minimize the risk of combustible dust incidents.
- Deliver comprehensive training courses on Dust Hazards to educate clients and enhance their safety protocols.
- Availability for approximately 30%-40% overnight domestic travel.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Protection, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in process safety specifically related to combustible dust.
- Professional Engineer license (PE) is considered a plus.
