EHS Technical Writer - Catoosa, OK

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in crafting HSE policies, procedures, and training materials
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal HSE regulations
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team on the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures
• Create, edit, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, manuals, and training materials
• Assist in researching and applying solutions to address regulatory compliance challenges
• Work with team members to develop project plans for HSE improvements
• Ensure all HSE documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with standards and regulations
• Communicate and train employees on HSE policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the HSE Supervisor and team to enhance HSE performance
• Conduct risk assessments for new and existing tasks and equipment
• Identify process improvements and manage actions to completion
• Investigate HSE incidents, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and maintain records
• Provide training and assistance to leads, supervisors, and managers in fulfilling their HSE responsibilities
