Electrical Systems Engineer
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 + Quarterly Bonuses

JOB OVERVIEW

As an Electrical Engineer based in Evansville, IN, you will be responsible for providing corporate engineering leadership, including supporting plant electrical needs, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting with equipment installations. In this hands-on role, you may work with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, and make minor program modifications. Additionally, you will actively support the maintenance team on-site.

EDUCATION:

· 2-4 year Electrical Engineering Technology degree

· 5+ years of experience managing commercial and industrial construction projects

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with the installation of automated control processes for electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Experience estimating total job cost for electrical installations, including new construction, building renovations, and the relocation or installation of machinery
  • The ability to work with contractors and utility companies, both domestically and abroad
  • Experience with electrical safety in the workplace, including NFPA70 and NFPA70E
  • Knowledge of PLCs, Operator Interfaces, and Variable Frequency Drives
  • Experience with PLC and VFD software applications, preferably Allen Bradley programming
  • Panel building experience
  • Industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD Electrical
  • Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems as they relate to automation
  • Automation or robotics experience is a plus

  • Overseeing the scope of engineering work for plant electrical projects
  • Managing projects as directed by management personnel
