Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program in the United States

· Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina or ability to obtain NCEES registration

· Minimum of 7 years' experience as a registered PE in electrical design for industrial projects, including electrical systems such as 480V, 3 Phase Power, backup generators, warehouse lighting, and fire alarm systems. Construction experience is a plus.

· Familiarity with building codes and design standards, including NFPA 70, NED, and IBC. Knowledge of FM Global Standards is advantageous.

· Experience in defining electrical design loads, preparing power load sheets, equipment selection, developing project specifications, and resolving construction issues

· Willingness to visit client facilities and construction sites, with the ability to physically survey buildings and equipment

· Creative problem-solver with innovative thinking abilities

· Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines

· Proficiency in CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit

· Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

· Organized and detail-oriented team player, capable of managing and delegating tasks within the Electrical Department

· Ability to contribute to sales and marketing efforts by participating in preliminary project designs, estimating fees, and attending networking events
