Electrical Engineering Supervisor – 1st shift

Our client is seeking a Team Lead for Electrical Engineering for their 1st shift to oversee the maintenance and improvement of all electrical systems at our Waukesha, WI location. The Electrical Engineering Team Lead will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the operational readiness of all electrical and electronic equipment
  • Develop plans for long-range electrical projects and oversee the electrical aspects of other projects
  • Supervise and schedule a team of 8 electrical personnel across three shifts, including hiring, training, and development of new team members
  • Implement and manage administrative programs related to electrical systems and personnel
  • Oversee the work of contractors as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of electrical experience OR 10+ years of electrical experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is required
  • Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems
  • Experience in project management is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Self-motivated and proactive work style
