Electromechanical Field Engineer - Racine, WI

• We are seeking a candidate with four or more years of experience as an electrical mechanical engineering designer field service technician. Mechanical engineering design experience with rotating mechanical equipment, electronic controls design experience, electronic circuit design experience, experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment, CAD experience with electrical designs, and Bills of Materials experience are all required.
• The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $100,000, depending upon experience.
• Travel requirements for this position include up to 30% domestically.
• Candidates must be either a United States citizen or a Green Card holder.
• This is an onsite position, so remote work is not available.
• This is a full-time, permanent W-2 employee position.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and service various rotating mechanical equipment
• Provide support for engineering design projects involving rotating mechanical equipment
• Perform duties of a service technician
• Create and modify AutoCAD designs for electronic controls and electrical schematics
• Develop and modify controllers using C, Visual BASIC, and Assembly language
• Generate Bills of Materials
• Provide telephone support to clients
• Travel up to 30% of the time

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
• At least four years of experience as a service technician
• At least four years of mechanical engineering design experience with rotating mechanical equipment
• At least four years of electronic controls design experience
• At least four years of electronic circuit design experience
• At least four years of experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• At least four years of CAD experience with electrical designs
• At least four years of Bills of Materials experience
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Solid work history
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• Reside within a 45-minute drive of Racine, WI
