This is a full-time opportunity for a Technical Support Field Service Advisor at a stable company that is owned by its employees and is a leader in its industry. This position does not involve any travel. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

  • Engaging with vendors and customers through effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Promptly responding to incoming phone calls.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Supporting and managing project workflow to ensure successful completion.
  • Collaborating with customers, parts, and service teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Creating and managing work orders and invoices.
  • Billing and invoicing customers accurately and timely.
  • Providing support to service managers as required.
  • Assisting with service scheduling, if necessary.
  • Processing Return Merchandise Authorizations as needed.
  • Participating in training programs for service employees as required.
  • Providing training to others when necessary.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • At least four years of experience in technical support or field service, with a solid understanding of hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Four or more years of experience in customer support.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • A consistent and strong work history.
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a valid Green Card.
  • Residence within a 45-minute proximity to the given location.
