Electrical Project Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage and oversee electrical projects across a variety of industries, including renewables, data centers, oil and gas, and more. As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and effectively managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Travel to different project locations as required.
- Effectively plan, organize, and supervise daily tasks for project teams.
- Recruit, train, and supervise project team members, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Review and maintain familiarity with project plans, specifications, and contractual scopes.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide updates as necessary.
- Monitor and document project progress, generating RFIs and memos as needed.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Codes and safety standards.
- Manage material procurement and tool control for the project site.
- Oversee project site cleanup and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated experience in the electrical field, with knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency in the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs, AC/DC drives, and electrical equipment.
- Experience with Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Thorough understanding of L.O.T.O policies and OSHA regulations.
