Electrical Superintendent

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Superintendent to lead job crews on industrial electrical projects throughout the country. This position requires exceptional leadership abilities, a comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed within schedule, scope, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various project sites nationwide as required.
  • Develop, organize, and supervise the daily work activities of job crews.
  • Recruit, train, and, if necessary, terminate employees in adherence to company policies.
  • Thoroughly review job plans, specifications, and contract scope to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in and contribute to coordination meetings.
  • Monitor and document project progress, generating RFIs and other communications as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Codes and safety regulations.
  • Manage material orders, tool control, and maintain job site cleanliness.
  • Track and approve employee work hours.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the industrial electrical sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills in diverse work environments.
  • Proficiency in NEC, OSHA safety standards, and L.O.T.O policies.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with ease.
  • Hands-on expertise in installing and troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motor control systems.
  • Capability to work in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights.
